Haweswater

Cycled out to Haweswater to watch the half marathon this morning, took lots of pics of runners but thought I would blip the reservoir instead.

The village of Mardale was flooded in the 1930's, to keep the good folk of Manchester from getting thirsty- I would of liked to of seen this lovely valley and its small lake before it was flooded.
