Cramond Brig (1619)

We had a dog walk down the banks of the River Almond and crossed the old Cramond Brig. It is an ancient structure and bears stonework inscriptions of its many dates of repair. Until 1964, it was on the main road north from Edinburgh.

Due to the slow current, it is a good place for Pooh sticks.
