Family Portrait in the Forest

Today was a lovely day out. so we all took a drive up to Bere Forest for some fresh air. Well, yesterday was a bit functional, having to buy passport photos for Megans first passport, and Olivers passport renewal amongst other things - bad timing I know, but Olivers passport runs out this year and he needs a new one for our forthcoming trip to Santorini in May.

Rather than take the pram, we took on of those baby bjorn things. In a nutshell, its a kangaroo pouch type thing for babies. Megan wasn't sure about it at first, preferring the relative comfort of the car seat, but soon got used to it, and slept for most of the time we were at the forest. The clear skies gave me an opportunity for a few family photos. This is probably the best one I managed for today, although Emma did manage to take a few decent shots of me and Megan - not bad for someone who prefers a 'point and shoot'.

All in all, a good day, and a nice second half of the weekend. Hope everyone else has had a nice weekend. Its Monday tomorrow, but I'll deal with that when I wake up!!
