New Book #3

After working tonight (I drove my taxi and gave customers free books for world book day) I came home to carry on reading The Passage.

Normally, I love apocalyptic fiction; The Stand and Down to a Sunless Sea are two firm favourites of mine. But, this one is just not doing it for me. I am about half way through now, and I'm just not managing to enjoy the vampire apocalypse the way I thought I might.

Maybe I just prefer my end of the world stories to be less...vampiric?

I do, however, love my bookmark, even though it likes to leave little black marks on the pages if I'm not careful.
