What's Going on In There?: How the Brain and Mind Develop in the First Five Years of Life

Sometimes I need a distraction when feeding Q. If it is late at night, I often look for something interesting on my phone. Last night, I re-read this bit on my Kindle app. Reminded me of why the husband and I worked so dilligently to ready the nursery.

The mobile in the picture is named "Munari" and is one that is taught in the Montessori Assistants to Infancy training. I sought out directions on how to make one, but in the end, I paid someone to make this for us.
