Sent youngest son to Auckland on the plane last night unaccompanied. 10 Year old was most disconcerted to find the Mongrel Mob (biker gang) were also flying on the flight, along with a number of police. We didnt know if that was coincidental or not. Small son, got scared and had to sit in the hostesses seat at the back of the plane, and then vomitted. Lucky hostess. Who would have thought that would happen. One gentleman had homemade tatoos across his entire forehead "SERIOUS". I can only think of John MacEnroe saying famously "You can't be SERIOUS?" to an umpire in a grand slam. It does make you wonder what is going on inside a man's head to publically be asking that question for life, on his face, for goodness sake?

Recent arrivals back to Christchurch flew in this morning to figure out the state of their "red stickered" house. This means you are not allowed access and can not even enter to get essential belongings as the building is considered dangerous to life. On the flight the airline lost their bags, so the only things they owned in the suitcases were now also gone. Hopefully temporarily. Sometimes patience is required in buckets!!!
