that's just weird..

Faaaaaaaantastic day!
woke up at eight thirty and watched the Sunday Morning News with my family like I always do. then to my friend Cassidy's house for Perry the Platypus Day (observed)/Pixar Movie weekend. Platypus day was actually yesterday, but we couldn't celebrate. we ate lots of food and played video games--things the average overweight American would do, so afterward, I somehow convinced the three others that we should go outside and play in the pouring rain. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. my red rain boots get a lot of use, but none like this! we had races up the street (I WON) and puddle-jumped like champions. I'm not sure how much fun everyone else had, considering I kind of soaked them, BUT I HAD A BLAST! when we got back, we dried ourselves off with a blowdrier and inflated our clothes. (and pants. especially pants.)

Then to my uncle's house for dinner. I AM SO GOOD AT SCRABBLE. always fun there.


and now, quietly laughing (can Jess do that?) to myself watching Monsters, Inc., my faaaaaaaaaavorite childhood movie. a part of me is sad, because Pixar Movie weekend is slowly drawing to a close.....
