If Only It Was Real...

While sitting at the coffee shop next to the dorm and visiting with the student who was working, another friend came up and started playing with the tip box. I didn't expect there to be anything in it because tipping is not very common in Thailand. When she opened up the bottom and pulled out some strange looking green bills, I looked twice before realizing what she had found. The tip box was full of $100 bills (US). I haven't seen a US bill in months, but they aren't hard to recognize, and these looked quite real. Unfortunately, the paper gave them away to be copies...the coffee shop could have had a pretty nice makeover if we could have exchanged the bills at the bank. :)
