Scallops Re:visited
Dinner tonight: Sea Scallops in a Meyer Lemon Beurre Blanc sauce, Tarragon Carrots and Sugar Snap Pea Salad, and Cauliflower Mash.
The lemons gave the Beurre Blanc sauce a bit of an overwhelming tartness, and the dijon mustard gave the carrots/sugar snap peas a dirty yellow tinge though it tasted pretty good. The big surprise? I think I love cauliflower puree almost as much as I love potatoes. Who knew? Good way to incorporate more veggies into my diet.
The cookies haven't happened yet, but the night is still semi-young. :)
