Wells Cathedral

I went to Wells for a meeting this morning.

It was impossible to get a clear view of the Cathedral from this side but at least the trees weren't in leaf! Oddly enough, this is my favourite of the photos I took today - I think it's because of the details of the wall.

If you've ever seen the film "Hot Fuzz", you'll have seen quite a lot of Wells. The Cathedral doesn't feature in it but the gateway to the fictional Sandford Castle leads in to this area by the moat.
