Shadows and tall trees

He looks up to me now. He has little choice.

I wonder if he always will.

I grew to be taller than my Dad. And he seemed to shrink more with illness before he died.

But I don't remember him like that.

He remains a giant of a man to me. Unbreakable. Like his love for us.

And mine for him.
