Well, that's how our wee front room feels just now. We badly need to replace the old sofa, which won't take another re-upholstering, is almost painful to sit on for those with legs the wrong length, and is now so low that visiting parents once down can only get back up with a lot of help. Today we rather suddenly bought an ex-display sofa, with the inevitable result that we now have both sofas in a room that was already cluttered. This photo is an attempt to give a sense of the oppressive over-crowding.
Luckily, older lad claims to love the old sofa and is desperate to squeeze it into the corridor-shaped room that's his. If it works, great - no special uplift needed.
