amazing

this is the work of Geordie Lishman(website/contactinfo).. who teaches a few of my classes. This semester he's the traditional arts teacher (so the nude models, & any pencil work i've done, basically)

he's brilliant as far as i'm concerned. he had am "art hangout" dan & i went to see what it was all about.

It was super chill atmosphere, we saw some amazing pieces of work. and we helped paint some gears which will be part of another art project of his.

i really enjoyed it actually. nice to chill out, & paint. hopefully we get to go back out to his place

which in itself is pretty awesome. he has metal statues everywhere, a few things made from drift wood. even a stage, in his backyard! which is actually in between suburbia.. can you imagine a 14ft metal horse in your neighbors backyard?? oh, and a crazy tall statue made with car doors & bumpers and whatnot. brilliant madness.. being around other artists itself is quite enjoyable.

so i thought i'd skip the light blip for something more interesting today ;)
