We spent this morning welding practice pieces of steel. It wasn't the most successful practice, but we might just be able to cobble together a chassis with the help of some of the lab technicians. And it was quite fun taking photos with a welding mask on, because I couldn't see a bloody thing!

My flatmate, Sammy, has just been diagnosed with scarlet fever. We all thought that died out with the Victorians, but apparently not! Gym later, unless I burn down the flat grilling sausages in the microwave.
