Sunrise after the Storm

This is the North Western View from my back deck. It faces the La Plata Mountains and Durango, CO. We had thawed up until yesterday and when I woke up, this is what it looked like. Thankfully only a couple inches at my house. My 19 yr old is driving North 6 hours to check out Colorado Springs through the 2 Mountain passes and during a Winter Storm Watch.

She hit a deer the other night on her way home from work. The deer basically sat on her hood and damaged her headlight. Last night my BF tried fixing it but didn't have the sunlight to complete it. He is due here any minute to start the repair. The whole bumper has to come off just to change the light housing. Thank God for Youtube and videos to find all the bolts that have to come off. He couldn't find them yesterday since snow was packed under her car.

I wish she would postpone until next week when the weather is better but what do I know I'm just "Mom".
