The girl who blipped thrice.
Erm, hello. I decided to blip again mainly because I have a big paper due tomorrow and all other available methods of procrastination have been blocked by the lovely Kristin Kempa. <3
So this is the bag by grand-big got for me. It's written in Sanskrit. Inside is a ring made from Costa Rican shells, which is just as beautiful as the bag itself. My big and grand-big are pretty inspiring and unique people; my grand-big was a debutante (?!) in NY before studying in Lyons for 2 years. My big is a fellow Europhile who also has a passion for art history and just got accepted into Sotheby's for art business/law. That's about it, really. I just hope one day to be as accomplished as they are.
I think I chose this picture because the bag reminds me of the nightmares I've been having, in which it seems every single person I've ever known has come back to seek retribution for some way in which I've wronged them. More than one nightmare has gotten pretty awkward.
But anyway, I can't understand the bag. I want to, but I don't know how to yet. And it takes up the entirety of this photograph, but in real life it's only 2x3" wide. That about sums it up I guess.
"Everyone, at some point in their lives, wakes up in the middle of the night with the feeling that they are all alone in the world, and that nobody loves them now and that nobody will ever love them, and that they will never have a decent night's sleep again and will spend their lives wandering blearily around a loveless landscape, hoping desperately that their circumstances will improve, but suspecting, in their heart of hearts, that they will remain unloved forever. The best thing to do in these circumstances is to wake somebody else up, so that they can feel this way, too."
