I Stumble Out of Bed....

Opposite attract or so they say, and it must be true.

Once I'm awake I'm awake, and as loud as I am any other time of the day. If everyone else around me isn't "as they should be", I'm concerned. When Boy was home he was pretty much the same.

This pair are from the same block. They rise like zombies, and stagger around the house, mumbling under their breath, and grunting answers to questions. Everything is done at the same pace, and god forgive you if you get in their way.

I loved this today, as I stood in the hall drying my hair, the two of them were organising lunch and breakfast respectively. Not a word spoken between the two of them, heads down focusing on what they are doing - cat begging at the door to come in. No chance, not til they have both woken.

I dry my hair, run around like a lunatic, constantly question them if they are all right, and both of them have perfected a look. They turn, unsmiling, look at me as if I have asked the question a million times, and say "I'm just awake". Grunt and get on with it.

Oaft. Some people. Please note also - Toolibelle hasn't got quite as far as putting her skirt on. We did point it out to her before she left the house.
