Women and pancakes

The kids didn't notice it was International Women's Day today, but then again it's possible that they don't actually know that many international women. Most of the women they know are domestic.

That said, they have one grandmother internationally placed and another one boarding a plane today.

They were more interested in pancakes today anyway, lots of them.

The pancake 'tosser' photos were so dire that I decided to honour the 'women' instead. I have integrity.

My lovely Mum gave me this very special picture when I was expecting my first child. It hangs above my bed - as it did hers when she was bringing her children up.

One international woman honoured, job done.

Respect to all women and lovers of pancakes.
