Cambodia and the world.

Shrove Tuesday.

Here International Women's Day is a holiday, so we were off work. It also happened to be Shrove Tuesday, so we had an International Women's Day Pancake Party, where we played music by female artists, and ate pancakes with lots of toppings; ice cream, bananas, sugar & lime (you can't buy lemons here), chocolate (all the way from England), marshmallows, syrup, and more.

Lots of people of many nationalities came; American, Australian, Cambodian, Belgian, German, Canadian, so it was nice for me to be able to share this British tradition with them. I taught my Cambodian friends how to make pancakes, and the ones that they made were vastly superior to mine. This is Sokim and Chean taking their turn to cook.
