Should have been a margarita

I can't believe it! It is sensory overload. The desert is absolutely bliptastic! There is so much color and warmth and sunshine and blue sky...where do I even begin?

We spent the weekend in Palm Desert with my family. It was a lovely time, full of good laughs, good golf, and a lot of sunshine.

I caught this pic of flowers while waiting to tee off on one of the holes. The title gets at the real highlight of the day. A dinner out with my husband, my parents (see here) and close family friends. (see here) - both women who are blippers. We went to a mexican restaurant that is known for a delicious margarita, the kind that sneaks up on you and one is most likely enough. Well after about 10 seconds of deliberating we all decided that we should probably have another round...wow. Its been a while since I laughed that hard and certainly since I did it with a table of age 60+ people, but these folks know how to have a good time. They assured me this only happened every 3 to 5 years and I have to believe it. I am so thankful to have been there for this time. Some stories and laughs we will not soon forget. Tequila equals good times!
