A Summer Evening

Tonight Auckland looked beautiful, the harbour was calm, the yachts were pink as the late sun kissed their sails and the sky had a touch or red/orange. But my heart is heavy as I watch Christchurch suffering and hear tales of woe. It seems wrong somehow that we are fine.but we need to be to help Christchurch. such a strange way the world works!
Anyway if you are reading this plan to visit New Zealand and help our economy recover...... 95% of NZ is beautiful and nothing has changed......... come and visit . Thsi will help us rebuild Christchurch. My ancestors planted the trees in Hagley park.others are buried in the Cathedral.....my roots are distinctly South Island!
