Sea star or Star fish.
This is literally the only blip I took all day.
It's a Spotted Sea Star. ( I think!) Anyway, they come in lots of different colours from various shades of brown to pinky-red. One day I'll see if I can take a photo of their underside, as I think it's more interesting.
Fairly, quiet day today. A few schools in the park, including a group of 260 children from Camp Australia. This is a group of people who aim to enhance children's lives through play, sport etc. And they seemed to be doing a very good job of it as well. the group ranged in age from about 5 up to teenagers, and they all seemed to be helping each other. They were beautifully dressed in either bright yellow or blue T-shirts and shorts, so they really stood out. they were neat, tidy and very well-behaved. Great to have them around.
Weather wise, a bit of a mixed bag, sunshine and showers, but the showers didn't last long.
At the moment I'm upstairs with Neo, as play with Sophia must have got a bit rough, as he can now only open one eye - he looks like a pirate! Have just looked around, and he's fast asleep on the bed!!
