We had clients visiting today from the North Island, so it was literally an all-day meeting. Good, but tiring - lots of talking and thinking.

I picked them up from the airport and we drove to the office. Actually, not that much earthquake damage visible. We went out for lunch, experienced a 4.1, yep, that's what it's like! We felt a series of quakes while we were meeting, but interestingly our guests didn't appear to feel them. Whereas the rest of us in the (windowless) room all looked at each other, every time. Geonet says we had at least 5 during the meeting, I felt at least 3.

Anyway, we had lots to discuss and much of it was around a new campaign direction for the season. No golden bullet, we have a challenging 3 weeks ahead, it launches April 1.

And then I took them back out to the airport, the normal 25 minute journey took a little over an hour, earthquake traffic. But again, not that much damage visible. I feel next time we might have to do some "earthquake tourism" to convince them! I?m joking, they do know.

Then shopping (we haven't shopped for 2 weeks, the super markets near us are all damaged and we've got by) and home. Where I spied work being done on a neighbours roof. Funny, you just don't think you'll see a very large crane suspending 4 men over a roof just down the road.

But then these are unusual times ....
