Central Park South

My husband is having surgery today, and I had to get him to the hospital on the Upper East Side for 5.45am. Ouch!! Decided to make the most of it and drive back across town so I could watch the city, that never sleeps, wake up.

As I drove along, with the Plaza on my left and Central Park on my right, I couldn't help noticing that even the dogs, out on their early morning walks, were that little bit better groomed and accessorised than their suburban counterparts. Have vowed to get out of my yoga pants and trainers for the return trip this afternoon.

On an aside, judging by the smell on the drive home, it was not a good night to be a skunk.
