Brown

I think I managed to avoid all of the most obvious picks for brown. The weather is a bit dodgy this morning so I have opted for another macro. I figure now that I have my lighting sussed out a bit I might as well put it all to good use.

How did she get so close with a 50 mm lens? Close up rings. I have a set of three and all three were attached to make this picture. The lens was about 8 inches from the almonds. That is about as close as it lets me go.

Random day off today, but that works. There is a big move happening at work today. industrial shelves in the storeroom being shifted to accomodate more stock. Thank heavens the people I work for feel this is a mans job. I am antisexism until moments like this. There are a couple women helping today, but over all it will be the boys flexing their muscles and straining their backs.

I am off to see my dad later, maybe a drive through the refuge if the weather shapes up a bit, otherwise it is just lunch at the Chinese Restaurant.
