Tea and Cake

I'd been promised a trip for tea on my birthday but then The Boy kept stalling and we didn't make it out in the morning yesterday (though it turns out that was because he knew flowers were being delivered). So today we took a stroll along the canal to the Chocolate Tree for delicious tea and cake.

I rarely see boats actually travelling on the canal so I took the opportunity to get a couple of shots of this one.
