A coot cometh

A gloriously sunny day so I headed off to Camley St Natural Park at lunchtime. I chatted to one of the volunteer workers there. The kingfisher spotted on Tuesday is the big news of the week - it's hoped the kingfisher will nest in the park. I was pleased to see two resident rabbits out in their run, steadfastly refusing to mow the grass and just luxuriating in the sun (this is a familiar scenario to me, because the g-pigs do exactly the same). I had another conversation with the coot and bought some daffodils to plant in the garden. Super!
