Here Be Dragons

We went down to Galashiels today for the Dragon Festival to celebrate Chinese New Year.

These guys were the Glasgow Hong Lok Dragon and Lion Dancing Troupe, and in spite of the biting cold, they were brilliant. Full of colour and energy, the dance seems to demand incredible timing.

After the event, we headed for a Chinese restaurant to get some lunch - and found the Lion Dancers putting on a show in the place!
