Fish fish everywhere
Tonight is an extension of the week, where every day has involved tasks that relate to the forthcoming pop up pastrami shop. In the last five days: two trips to Costco, a car full of plates/cutlery/ cups/sugar/tea/coffee/latex gloves/kitchen roll/chef whites/mustard/peppercorns/coriander. In the fridge(s): tubs of brining meat. In the post today: four salmon in an icebox, vacc pack wallets and smoker bisquettes. Tonight's task: filleting, boning and curing said four salmon. Final destination: smoked salmon/cream cheese in freshly baked bialys on Sunday.
Meanwhile, testing, tasting, eating salt beef or pastrami, depending on what's been experimentally smoked.
And this isn't even anywhere near what we do for day jobs!
