SP............and a juggler

so it's Mrs McD's b'day today, which makes me feel a whole lot better about my recent b'day. you see she is two years older than me and NOTHING can ever change that. i won't tell you how old she is i will say that i was born in 1975 and as stated earlier she is TWO years older than me. for those that can't work that out, check out my blip for the 20th of jan and again she is two years older than me.

anyway she had the usual cards and gifts in the morning, plus the arrival of two lots of flowers. then she went off out to meet up with the girls for lunch. so Baby McDawg and i took it upon ourselves to get the train with her and just get out somewhere and have a stroll. so baby McD spotted the london eye and off we went in that direction. "lets go on it" she says, so since the queue wasn't too bad i went in to check out the actual ticket line. now i must admit it has been five years since i went on this tourist trap and i have no idea what it cost then but £15!!! i'm not a cheapskate by any means in fact money and i don't stay together for too long but that still seemed a bit steep.......as did the wait of 40 mins to get on a cage or cabin i believe they are called. i then spotted the "express" ticket. for £25 you can skip the massive wait and go straight to a cabin. great, "so i don't have to wait round then?", i asked.

"well you still have to go through the security check and that SHOULD only take about 10 minutes................express tickets my arse.

so we decided to head to the aquarium as baby McD didin't want to wait AT ALL and she remembered going there before and wanted to pet the stingrays again. so we wander along only to find queues that were worse than the london eye................things were not going well. but the situation was quickly rescued with the purchase of a couple of ice-creams with waffle cones. quality junk food munch.

so a wander over westminster bridge and i think maybe her first journey on the underground......not sure about that. have to check with the older Mrs McD. lexie enjoyed it anyway.

had to back blip yesterdays blip as the feckin connection keeps going......something well dodgy with the BT line and the Sky broadband. now going to have to take a day off work to wait in for the engineer. hey ho as long as they fix it i suppose.
have a good sunday folks, and lets have a big shout for the boys as they take on the french tomorrow............not forgetting a big hand for england who lost their game in tremondous style today. sorry wales but it's true england lost that game.....you lot never won it. obviously you won it but you didn't WIN it,............you know what i mean
