Censorship
Frequent viewers over the last 5 weeks will know that I've been doing a series of blips known as "Random Naked Thursdays." Well, I'm pleased/sorry* to say that this will be my last one - for now at least.
I've found them incredibly liberating and have thoroughly enjoyed pushing myself to do them. For a single woman approaching 40 (sshhhh - I didn't say that...) your comments have done wonders for my self-confidence, so thank you.
Today's final image from the series is inspired by a recent thread on the forums. It had already closed when I read it (I don't go there often) but it made me think about how, despite living in a democracy, we as photographers seem to keep facing increasing levels of censorship. Sometimes here on blip, sometimes out on the street.
I don't want to spark a debate on an old topic though - the forums are for that, not here.
On a technical note, this image came out really grainy. Think I needed a longer exposure time. And on another technical note, can I just say that sticking parcel tape over your mouth isn't a good idea. Ouch :-(
*delete as appropriate, depending on whether or not you've liked the series :-)
