british museum for a nosy round the book of the dead exhibition - ghastly crowdedness, fascinating stuff. also, the sheer beauty and delicacy of the papyrus was breathtaking, never mind the interest of what it was talking about. it would've benefited from being in a larger space tho, everything was so close together it was hard to see anything for people's heads! i guess that's why they offer you that £30 catalogue as you walk out through the shop...

then up to baker street for a trip to the sherlock holmes museum. it claims to be at 221b, but i'm unconvinced... tis very cheesy indeed, but fun all the same, tho i'm sure there is scope for doing a better job, it's pretty superficial.

and then over the road to regent's park for some greenery and a wander. i like that london has lots of green spaces around the place, makes it more bearable - tho to be fair, it seems less polluted and urg than when i was last here, maybe five years ago. the underground never changes tho!
