Campus hotspot

The Underground, as it is commonly called, is the main and largest campus restaurant/nightclub. It has several sections: restaurant, separate dining area, a separate event room, and a large event hall for dances and awards dinners. It recently suffered a flood from a broken water main so once the $2 million renovations were done it's been spiffed up a lot - including the addition of this large blue sign next to the doors. As the name suggests, it is under ground - underneath the Student Centre at the heart of York University's Keele Campus. It's early so the lights are dim, partly to conserve energy.
