Space shuttle - Dubai style

The space shuttle has just completed its 39th and final mission, landing safely in Florida. Last year, I was very fortunate to witness the penultimate take-off at Titusville Marina (you can't get any closer unless you work for NASA or get one of the few spectator tickets). It was an amazing experience that will I never forget - pitch black one minute and then as if someone turned on a gigantic lightbulb. When the roar reached us I was suddenly glad to be 10 miles away.


The Dubai version, located in Dubailand, is not quite full size, but large and impressive nevertheless.
