Have you ever wanted...
...to grab somebodies car, tear them out and pummel them?
No? Usually I don?t either, but today I certainly felt that way for a moment.
Picture the scene... You are standing on a curb under an umbrella with your 18 month old daughter in your arms. You are waiting to cross the parking lot to take her to the car. She is quite wriggly and still crying because she only regained consciousness from the general anesthetic about half an hour ago. She has just has a minor operation and woke up screaming and scared. She was absolutely howling and fighting for at least 15 minutes.
You are stood waiting there because a car has just sped into the parking lot. The car speeds past you close to the curb and covers your jeans and shirt and your daughters pajamas with oily water from the deep puddle they have just driven through very fast. It turns out they were not even planning on using the parking lot ?probably just as well for both of us-, they were just using it to avoid waiting at the traffic lights.
So after this event I got the desire to tear them out of the car and beat them. Maybe a little excessive but when you?ve been up since 5am to take your little monster to have an operation and she has come around absolutely freaked out and then somebody covers you both in filthy water an excessive response seems likely.
So that was my morning :-) How was yours?
