Cass Bay

I went for a mountain bike ride with PixelSmiths today. Really enjoyable.

Later, Mrs KD and I took the kids kayaking at Cass Bay. Here's our 5 year old learning to paddle. The link above to Pixelsmiths' blip was taken almost exactly the other side of the hills in the background of this photo.


Wev'e been enjoying one of the nicest summers I can remember. Great for the recreationalists, not so good for the agriculturalists. It's probably not as bad as it looks. The background hills, as with my blip from yesterday, are covered in tussock and this is their natural colour.
