Barbed Wire Kisses

Bizarre weather today, has spring sprung or not? These flowers suggest we're on our way out of the winter, but my lunchtime run today suggests otherwise. Coming over the shoulder of Arthur's Seat with the wind howling was bad, but then mother nature unleashed a torrent of hailstones, still running along with my colleague shouting expletives into the wind was invigorating.

I don't know if it's middleman posting a lot of tunes from back in the day or the article I was reading last night on C86, but I was drawn to the jangle today. One of my coming of age records was Ride's debut which drew the indie jangle into shoegaze territory, the walk to work today was accompanied by Nowhere. This track shares the same name as the album, but only appeared on the Fall ep.
