West from East

Took a quick trip to East Lothian after work after I remembered a fine lady with whom I did voluntary work for about fourteen years was having a retiral do. She gave a rousing and very amusing speech about lawyers, sheriffs and socal workers and we recalled afterwards one of the most amusing meetings we'd been in which rendered at least four of us helpless and sniggery and furiously trying to maintain a degree of seriousness. Very unprofessional but probably the most talked-about meeting we'd ever been in.

Making a big curry tomorrow night so armed myself afterwards in the supermarket with all sorts of exotic spices. Hmmm, I sure it'll be nice but possibly a carry oot would be easier.
