Staying at friend's photogenic flat in Islington and tried and failed to create homage to Esher's famous 'hand holding globe' drawing. Not quite working so sat down dispirited in tilting chair and was struck by light fitting and muted yellow ceiling.

Just liked the way this subfusc imagery contrasts with the colourful prints, which I know are filling the flat. Which of course no-one seeing just this image sees. But trust me, the contrast adds a poignancy to the image.
