Red Cent

Well I started looking for an "i" object and found an Indian head buffalo nickel and Indian head penny. Then I came across a OPA 1 Red Cent token. This was given to me by my mother who saved it from World War II when they used these as change for food rations.

The tokens had no meaning to the phrase "not worth a red cent" which actually refers pennies made in the late 1700s which had a red colour as they were minted from pure copper.
