Every year at this time, work takes C to New York for two or three weeks.

You say lucky, but she ends up doing manic 18-hour days 7 days a week for the duration.
But... the two biggest shows in our little garden, the cherry blossom and the clematis generally do their thing while C is away!
I have been willing the clematis to get on and flower, and the first blooms are here, but will the rest make it by Tuesday?
