Vote for Pirates?

Election day in our state on March 27th.

Was surprised to see this poster in town.
On the left it says something like: Politics another way
On the right: Don't trust advertising - inform yourself.
Vote for the pirates

If they get votes, will we have to talk like pirates and wear eye patches? Yarrrr!
