Lennoxtown (High Kirk) 1828

I had a lovely visit to a VERY pregnant K's today (not long now! :))))) ) and thoroughly enjoyed pushing the pram to nursey and picking up the bairns with her. It took me straight back to the times my pair were at Nursery.
We passed the High Kirk on the way back and there is something so friendly and reassuring about this building, it has a personality. Sadly it was destroyed by fire in the early 1980s, and lies in a state of disrepair, but it still has a parental air over the village. It makes you feel safe for some strange reason. I like it!
A lovely afternoon at the youngests parents afternoon at school. He was so excited and has for the last two days been up at quarter past 7, fully showered and dressed talking about the events and run down of the day, I now know loads about the oceans of the world and the River Clyde!
These days are so unique in life, grasp them while you can, especially after the terrible events in Japan today.
