Terminal 5

I'm sat in the BA Galleries lounge enjoying a lovely glass of Chablis. In about twelve hours time, I'll be arriving in Sao Paulo for a study tour, run by the Association of University Administrators looking at Higher Education in Brazil.

The study tour after this one is scheduled to be to Japan, which after this morning's earthquake makes me very grateful we're not heading towards a disaster zone right now. Brazil's had some flooding recently, so it's not exempt, but of course it's difficult to forget about those poor people in north Japan who join those in Christchurch struggling to rebuild their lives after a natural disaster. My heart goes out to all, and they are very much in my thoughts and prayers.
