Borrowed light

I think that's the technical term for an otherwise pointless internal window - 'borrowed light window'.

I once heard an estate agent say it, so it could be total rubbish.

Anyway, after five and a half years we've now made good use of it.

It makes my already crazy children look even more mental and it has saved the day when I managed to photograph nothing else.
