The old and the new

Working at Heathrow again today and I was able to get a bit of an inside tour.

This is Concord blipped from the flight deck of a BA 747. The building in the background is an old hanger which is having part of it's roof raised in order to house the new Airbus A380. Hence the cranes and steel supports.

It was difficult to decide which of many shots to blip. Was tempted to use the one of me in the pilot's seat but as I was looking a bit like a kid with a new toy, decided against it. If I knew how to post a link to the other photos I would.

Managed to get some work done as well, before the long haul home.
