Sheffield city centre

The inaugural Sheffield Blipmeet happened today, there was a bit of to-ing and fro-ing, between the fountains and the cafe, but we got together eventually. I chose the wrong day to say 'we'll recognise the blippers because we'll have cameras'... there were at least 50 people with cameras hanging around!!! We took some photos near the fountain, went over to the cathedral to take a few more, then into the Blue Moon for sustenance :)

The city centre was swarming with police, protesters and people with cameras. The buses had been diverted and so pedestrians could saunter down the main street.

These protesters with balaclavas were chatting to the police.
