Red Pike above Buttermere
It was Emma's birthday so we went to the Lake District. Saturday was a windy day and on the higher tops there was snow. It was only just cold enough for the snow to remain frozen which meant that there was a lot of humidity in the air and the cold was extremely penetrating. I liked the deposition patterns on these rocks at the summit.
