The Perfect Neighbors are The Perfect Strangers

A year ago today (or so) I'd finally painted my room. Today I'm finally putting it back in order. Two years ago today (or so) Mom took me to DisneyWorld. Today I found the photos, along with all those other photos from that rather interesting period of life; today I decided to finally do them justice and present them properly.

oh, but this picture! I'm so excited! As a result of G's comment yesterday I am endeavoring to indulge in all those western cliches. Today I was able to snap a horse with no rider and mountains with a red setting sun... but in the end decided to go in literal order.

So here it is: a chunk of the big sky.

I took a wrong turn in the race to the wild farmlands and ended up in a new neighborhood, so new that it was actually a cornfield when I went off to college a couple years ago. Before taking this turn I'd never been in the neighborhood, and probably never would have seen these pretty colors of the sunset. Out west we are experiencing a lot of new development, but they never build up and blemish the sky.

**I didn't want to overdo by editing, but I'm worried the colors don't look as spectacular here. I'll leave it for a bit but might change it later.
