Morning to Night

The horrific events that occurred yesterday in Japan had our area worried about possible tsunamis all morning and afternoon. We were awake most of the night with phone call after phone call re: the Tsunami warnings and making sure that the area hubby manages was being prepared for possible danger. Thanks to all who contacted us (morning and night) to check in and make sure that we were safe:) "L" and I spent our day inland away from the coast, a beautiful warm and sunny day in Roseburg. When we arrived home this evening we were greeted by this beautiful view. I rushed to find a place to shoot before the sun was swallowed up by the fierce ocean...and it's hard to believe that such frightening events took place when everything here looks so calm and beautiful.

May all those who suffered yesterday in this natural disaster find some peace. My thoughts and prayers go out to each and everyone of you.
